Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-13

These terms govern your use of Local Roofing Help. Read them carefully — by using this site, you agree to them.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Local Roofing Help (https://localroofinghelp.com), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, contractor partners, and any other party who accesses the service. We may update these terms periodically; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

2. Service description

Local Roofing Help is a lead-matching service. We are not a roofing contractor. We do not perform roofing work, do not employ roofers, do not own equipment, and do not pull permits. When you submit a lead through this site, we route your project information to vetted contractor partners in your service area. Quotes, estimates, contracts, and any work performed are between you and the contractor — not between you and Local Roofing Help.

3. No warranty / disclaimers

The site, the matching service, and any related tools (including cost calculators and informational guides) are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information presented is accurate or current.

We screen contractor partners against our vetting criteria (license, insurance, background check, BBB rating where applicable) before adding them to the network, but we do not warrant the work performed by any contractor matched through this service. We do not guarantee project outcomes, pricing, timelines, or workmanship. You are responsible for verifying a contractor's license, insurance, references, and any other credentials directly with the contractor and with the relevant state or local licensing authority before entering a contract.

4. How lead routing works

When you submit a lead, we share the relevant project fields with up to three to five vetted contractors whose service area covers your ZIP code. Those contractors will contact you directly to schedule an on-site evaluation and to prepare a written estimate. You are not obligated to hire any contractor we match you with. You may decline all of them, ask for additional matches, or stop responding at any time.

By submitting a lead, you authorize us to share your contact information and project details with our contractor partners for the purpose of responding to your project inquiry. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. User responsibilities

When you use this site, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when submitting a lead or contacting us.
  • Use the service only for legitimate roofing-project inquiries on properties you own, manage, or are authorized to evaluate.
  • Not abuse the forms — no bulk submissions, automated scraping, spamming, or attempts to bypass our rate limits or anti-spam measures.
  • Not impersonate another person, contractor, or business.
  • Not use the site to harass, defame, or threaten anyone, or to violate any law or third-party right.
  • Not interfere with the security or operation of the site or attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Local Roofing Helpand its officers, directors, employees, and contractor partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including damages for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, property damage, or personal injury — arising out of or relating to your use of the site, the matching service, or any work performed by a matched contractor, whether based in contract, tort, strict liability, or any other theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Local Roofing Help and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of or access to the service; (b) your violation of these terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any intellectual property, privacy, or property right; or (d) any dispute between you and a contractor matched through the service.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of [Pending — to be selected once the operating entity is chosen], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute that proceeds in court (and is not subject to the arbitration provision below) is the state or federal courts located in [Pending], and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

9. Dispute resolution

Informal resolution first. If you have a dispute with us, contact us through the contact page and describe the issue. We will work in good faith to resolve it informally for at least sixty (60) days before either side starts a formal proceeding.

Binding arbitration. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you and Local Roofing Help agree to resolve any claim through final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court — except that either party may bring individual claims in small-claims court. Arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis only; class actions, class arbitrations, and consolidated proceedings are not permitted. The arbitrator's award is final and may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Disputes between you and a contractor matched through the service are between you and that contractor; we are not a party to those agreements.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page; continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
