About Local Roofing Help
Need a new roof? Skip the cold-callers and the directories that list anyone with a truck. We connect you with local pros in under 5 minutes. You hire the one you want.
Who we are
We're a national lead-matching service for residential roofing. When you need a new roof, a repair, or a storm inspection, we route your project to a short list of local contractors in your area.
You pick who you want to work with. We don't bid the job. We don't own trucks. We don't send a salesperson to your driveway.
The roofing industry has a transparency problem. Quotes for the same project can vary by tens of thousands of dollars. High-pressure sales tactics are common. Homeowners often have no way to confirm the person knocking on their door is who they say they are.
We built this to fix that. We ask contractors for license, insurance, and review history at network intake. You get a shortlist of pros who provided what we asked for, and the time to choose.
We launched in 2026. We cover the contiguous United States. The contractor network keeps growing as we onboard partners that meet our standards.
How we screen contractors at intake
Every contractor in our network provides the same intake materials before we route a single homeowner to them. Contractors can't buy their way in.
License + insurance on file
Every contractor in our network provides their state contractor license at intake. License rules vary. Some states require a roofing or general contractor license. Others delegate to municipalities. We ask network partners to keep license info current and to re-confirm on the license anniversary. A lapsed, suspended, or complaint-flagged license pulls the contractor from rotation.
Insurance proof
Every contractor provides a Certificate of Insurance (COI) at intake showing active general-liability coverage and active workers' comp where the state mandates it. We ask network partners to provide an updated COI on the policy anniversary. Uninsured or underinsured contractors put homeowners on the hook if a worker gets hurt. That's why we ask for the COI before we route to anyone.
Background check
Every contractor business that joins our network clears a third-party background screen on its principal owner at signup. We look for felony, fraud, theft, and unresolved consumer-protection actions. Anything in the lookback window in those categories pulls the contractor from intake.
BBB rating where applicable
Every contractor in our network provides their Better Business Bureau profile (where one exists) at intake. We ask network partners to flag any new complaint or rating change. We give weight to the response pattern, not just the letter grade. A non-accredited contractor isn't automatically out (many excellent local crews skip BBB). But a pattern of unresolved BBB complaints disqualifies them.
Network coverage: thousands of local independent contractors.
How the connection works
- You tap call and answer four quick questions (homeowner, project type, timing, ZIP). The pre-screen takes under a minute.
- We route your call to one local roofer whose licensure, insurance, and review history fit your job. If that pro isn't the right fit, we'll route you to another with your permission.
- They reach out to schedule an on-site visit and prepare a written estimate. Quotes come from them, not from us.
- You compare estimates, ask the questions that matter, and hire whoever you want. You're never obligated to pick anyone we send.
Who we are not
We're a referral and matching service. We're not a roofing contractor. We don't employ roofers, own equipment, pull permits, or do any actual roofing work. The work and the quotes come from licensed local pros in our network. Your contract is with that contractor.
That distinction matters. You should still verify license and insurance directly with the contractor we send, read the contract carefully, and treat the relationship like any other you start yourself. We do the screening. Your due-diligence still applies.
